Nestled in the breathtaking countryside, this historical property served as a perfect base for exploring the nearby Doué la Fontaine Zoo Park, just a short 20-minute drive away. With a warm welcome, our family of three, including our 10-year-old daughter and our 2-year-old toddler, felt right at home. Our cozy room provided a peaceful retreat after our outdoor adventures, offering ample space for rest and relaxation. The highlight for our little ones was interacting with the friendly animals on the property, especially Indy the dog, adding a touch of charm to our stay.The family-friendly amenities, such as the spacious outdoor areas and nearby hiking trails, catered to our desire for quality time together. The owners, Bev and Olivier, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel like extended family rather than mere guests. Our mornings were filled with organic breakfast delights, setting a perfect tone for each day’s adventures. Whether you seek historical insights, natural beauty, or simply a peaceful family retreat, this hidden gem ticks all the boxes.
